According to SonicWall, hackers have already gained access to 5% of the company’s firewall preference files. Although the credentials inside these files are encrypted, other information in the files could help attackers exploit the firewall.
To protect themselves, users need to log into their accounts and check if they are at risk. Researchers suggest that users should reset their stored credentials, as this information is important for future security.
