According to police, this increase is due to additional victims being discovered with shrapnel wounds not initially reported. Three adults were also wounded by gunfire and survived. The shooter, Robin Westman, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A juvenile suffered injuries while taking cover during the incident but was not hit by gunfire. The updated figure was revealed in a search warrant affidavit filed by police last week.
