New Windows 11 Notification Feature Arrives – Multiple Monitors Supported

Windows 11 has just received a highly requested feature update that allows users with multiple monitors to access notifications on any monitor, not just the primary one. The new update, KB5065789, fixes an age-old problem that prevented users from seeing notifications on secondary monitors.

With this update, clicking the date and time entry in the system tray of any monitor will display your notifications at the top and calendar below, similar to how it works on the primary monitor. Right-clicking the same spot provides options for adjusting your date and time and tweaking your notification settings.

This feature is part of a larger set of improvements for Windows 11, including enhancements for File Explorer, the desktop, passkeys, Click to Do, Settings, Narrator, and more. To install the update, users can open Settings, select Windows Update, and click to check for updates. Once available, they can download and install KB5065789.

This update addresses a long-standing issue that has been frustrating many Windows 11 users with multi-monitor setups, allowing them to now easily access notifications on any monitor.
