UPS says it is working to bridge the gap of understanding tied to the new requirements but acknowledges that it cannot obtain the necessary information from customers in some cases. The company has offered two options for affected shipments: return the package at the customer’s expense or dispose of it, which is in compliance with US customs regulations.
