UAB Head Coach Trent Dilfer has been let go after the team’s poor performance on field. The Blazers lost to Florida Atlantic 53-33, and are now 2-4 on the season. Director of Athletics Mark Ingram announced that Blazer offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach will serve as interim head coach. This decision comes after a dismal record of 9-21 overall under Dilfer’s leadership.
