Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has decided not to show a video made by the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, which blames Democrats for the federal government shutdown and flight delays. The Metropolitan Airports Commission received a request from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to play the video in security screening areas, but it won’t be shown at MSP.
Instead, travelers saw a video reminding them to carry a Real ID. It’s unclear if this video is also being displayed at airports in Duluth and Rochester. The TSA emphasizes its priority of providing a safe and efficient airport experience while the shutdown continues.
