Microsoft’s new Copilot feature can save you time by linking directly to specific Windows settings. This handy trick is currently available for Windows Insiders and aims to help users navigate the operating system more easily.
To use this feature, simply ask Copilot a question about a specific setting, like “Make my screen easier to read.” The AI will respond with a direct link to the relevant screen, allowing you to adjust the settings quickly and efficiently.
This new skill is an improvement over the current version of Copilot, which often provides generic lists of suggestions. With this update, Copilot can detect your current device and provide links to the correct setting.
To try out this feature, you’ll need to be a part of the Windows Insiders program and running the latest Insider build. You may not be able to access it right away, but wait a few days for it to roll out to regular users.
Even if you don’t have the latest Insider build, you can still ask Copilot for help with specific Windows settings or issues. Open the Copilot app, click the microphone icon, and strike up a conversation with Copilot Voice. The AI will guide you through the proper steps, and you can review them through a transcript.
Note: This feature is currently only available for Windows Insiders, so regular users may have to wait a few months for it to be rolled out in the main version of Windows 11.
