Protesters gathered in dozens of locations across Colorado to participate in “No Kings” rallies, which aim to protest the Trump Administration and promote a sense of equality among Americans. The events, held on October 18, drew millions of people nationwide, with thousands attending rallies in Denver alone.
Organizers claim the movement is about sending a clear message that America is a nation of equals, not ruled by fear or force. However, President Trump rejected the notion that he’s a king during an interview with Fox News.
In Denver, peaceful protests turned violent when police used tear gas and munitions against protesters. A total of 12 arrests were made, including charges for aggravated assault, assault on a peace officer, graffiti, and other municipal offenses.
