Trump’s Ballroom Funded by Big Names, Not Taxpayers

President Donald Trump’s proposed $300 million ballroom project is expected to be funded by major companies like Apple and Amazon. However, in 2020, the White House stated that the project was privately funded by Trump himself and donors, claiming it would not cost taxpayers anything.

The latest list of donors includes co-founders of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini (Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss), Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his family, and the Adelson family. This contradicts Trump’s claim that he is funding the project personally.

It’s worth noting that some big names have already made significant contributions to the project, such as Altria Group, Inc., Lockheed Martin, Meta Platforms, and Microsoft.
