Johnny Ocean’s Grille, a beloved restaurant in Oakway Center, has been taken over by its long-time server Windy Barnes, who became the owner at 33 after Shawn Rahimian sold the business due to his Parkinson’s diagnosis. Despite financial struggles and COVID-19 challenges, the restaurant remained committed to keeping employees on staff and offering its signature build-your-own s’mores experience. Under new ownership, the menu and atmosphere remain largely unchanged, with Barnes aiming to maintain the restaurant as a “comfortable” spot for families, much like her late boss Shawn Rahimian’s vision.
