The investigation found that some sellers advertise these products as “extreme bleach” and claim they are safe for use at home. The British Dental Association has urged the government to launch an urgent crackdown on these illegal practices, while authorities have advised consumers to contact their local trading standards department or Citizens Advice if they suspect suspicious teeth-whitening products are being sold in their area.
