2 New Suspects Charged in $100M Louvre Jewel Heist

Two more suspects have been charged in connection with the $100 million stolen from the Paris museum two weeks ago. Four people are now being held, including three previously arrested individuals who were released this week due to lack of evidence. The new arrests came after DNA and cell phone records linked them to the crime scene. Two men from France and one woman have been charged with organized theft and complicity in the crime. They deny involvement but one has “partially admitted” to their role. The investigation highlights security concerns at the Louvre, where only a third of the museum’s wings are under video surveillance. Authorities continue to work on finding the stolen jewels before they can be sold or taken out of the country.
