Unlike traditional AI tools like NotebookLM, which provide a summary of entire videos, TLDW uses highlight reels to focus on high-signal parts of the video. These curated highlights allow you to quickly watch the most important parts directly from the source, preserving the creator’s voice and nuance.
TLDW also offers a unique feature that explains terms in context, unlike textbook definitions provided by other AI tools. When watching a video, tap “Explain” and TLDW will unpack the term for you in plain English within its Chat panel. This ensures accurate explanations grounded in what the creator actually said.
