ByHeart Inc. is recalling some of its baby formula due to a recent outbreak of infant botulism. Thirteen infants have been diagnosed with the disease after consuming the product. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are investigating 13 cases, including hospitalizations in 10 states. All affected babies had consumed ByHeart brand powdered formula.
