A 35-year-old Ohio IT contractor has pleaded guilty to breaking into his former employer’s systems after being fired. Maxwell Schultz impersonated another contractor to gain access, causing $862,000 in damage by resetting thousands of passwords and deleting system logs. He faces up to ten years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.
