A new law is set to hit the US cannabis industry hard. Fizzy drinks and vape pens containing THC are now in danger of being banned from convenience stores nationwide. In 2018, a bill was passed that allowed farmers to grow hemp with minimal THC for industrial use. However, this created a new market for intoxicating hemp products nearly identical to those made from traditional marijuana, despite federal laws.
