The New York Knicks defeated the Orlando Magic 100-91 behind a strong performance from Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Brunson scored 31 points, while Towns contributed 22 points and 22 rebounds. Mikal Bridges added 17 points for the Knicks.
On the other side, Moritz Wagner led the Magic with a career-high 32 points, but his team struggled from beyond the arc, making just 9 of 30 three-point shots. The Magic played without their top scorers Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, who are currently out due to injury.
The Knicks relied on defense and rebounding to build a lead in the fourth quarter, eventually pulling away by 16 points. Towns’ block and Josh Hart’s layup sealed the victory for New York. The Knicks now head to Minnesota on Thursday, where Towns will face his former team for the first time this season.
