Microsoft has admitted that its latest update KB5064081 has an issue making it harder to log into your computer using a password. The “Password icon might be missing or invisible” on the lock screen sign-in options, but users can still sign in by clicking on empty space where the button should be.
Clicking any letter, number, or spacebar on your keyboard will activate the password field. This isn’t a critical security issue and is part of the preview update, only affecting Insiders for now. Microsoft is working to resolve this issue.
