Ayaneo has unveiled its latest gaming handheld, the Next 2, which boasts a large 115Wh battery and an impressive OLED display. Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chipset, the device is capable of delivering high-performance gaming with up to 85W TDP. The Next 2 features a 9.06-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, 2400 x 1504-pixel resolution, and 1,100 nits peak brightness.
The handheld also comes equipped with hall effect joysticks, dual touchpads, an 8-way D-pad, and dual rear customizable buttons. Additionally, the Next 2 features a magnetic-levitation haptic motor, upgraded front-firing stereo speakers, and a dual-stage trigger lock system.
However, it’s worth noting that some Chinese companies may have made similar mistakes in the past with screens above 1080 resolution on handheld devices, leading to performance issues. The Ayaneo Next 2 will be sold in Black and White color options, but its pricing, availability, and full spec sheet have yet to be announced.
For now, fans of gaming handhelds will have to wait for more information from the company.
