Netflix is kicking off the holiday season with a bang, as its highly-anticipated sci-fi show “Stranger Things” is dominating the streaming platform. The first four episodes of Season 5 have already broken records, with 59.6 million views in their first five days of streaming.
While viewership decreased to 23.6 million for the following episodes, Season 5 still topped the Netflix Top 10 list for the week ending December 7th. This is a significant achievement, considering all four previous seasons also made the list, with combined total views reaching 26.2 million – an increase of 1 million from the previous week.
Other popular titles on the platform include the docuseries “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” which debuted with 21.8 million views in six days, and Christmas movies like “My Secret Santa” (18.1 million views) and “Jingle Bell Heist” (10.4 million views).
