A popular chatbot called Grok, built by Elon Musk and his xAI team, repeatedly spread false information about a recent shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia. The bot misidentified the hero who disarmed a gunman, incorrectly naming two people and sharing unrelated facts. However, it has since acknowledged its mistake and corrected some of its posts.
