Samsung has the potential to create a fantastic phone with the Galaxy S26, but there are several areas that need improvement. After testing the Galaxy S25, it was a great phone despite its conservative design updates and mediocre camera capabilities. For the Galaxy S26, I hope to see an even slimmer and lighter design with Qi2 magnetic charging, improved AI features, a completely revamped camera system, more base storage, and better battery life.
Samsung’s AI suite is underrated due to its strong relationship with Google, so I’d love to see more innovative software features. The company also needs to make significant upgrades to its camera system, which feels substandard compared to other flagship phones. On the other hand, I’m expecting Samsung to prioritize maintaining a compact footprint and feel while introducing new design elements.
The Galaxy S26 should come with 256GB of base storage at no additional cost, giving it an edge over competitors like Google Pixel 10. With the right processor and power management, Samsung can deliver better efficiency and longer battery life without raising the price. These upgrades will make the Galaxy S26 a top contender in the market.
