The images were obtained from “residual data located in backend systems” and appear to show an individual tampering with a camera at the time of her disappearance. Authorities are seeking to identify the individual but consider them a “subject” rather than a suspect or person of interest. Savannah Guthrie, Nancy’s daughter, has asked people for help in finding her mother, saying she is “still out there” and the family needs their assistance. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Nancy’s recovery or conviction in the case.
