Actor Allu Arjun was released from jail a day after his arrest in connection with the death of a fan at the premiere of his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. The incident occurred on December 4, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Revathi and injuring her son critically.
Arjun visited his uncle Chiranjeevi’s residence accompanied by his wife Sneha Reddy and daughter Arha, appearing relaxed and cheerful during their outing. This visit comes after Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha supported Arjun following his arrest on Friday.
The incident at the theatre led to a stampede-like situation, resulting in the death of Revathi and injuring her son critically. Arjun expressed his condolences for the tragic incident, stating it was “truly of no direct connection” to him and that he would be there to support the family.
Many have criticized Arjun’s decision to celebrate by visiting Chiranjeevi’s residence with his family, considering a minor victim is still in hospital.
