Sotiropulos joined KMPH in 1971 as one of its first employees and returned to the station in 1992 as weather anchor. Over the years, he delivered the weather on both morning and evening newscasts before transitioning to the morning broadcasts full-time. During his time away from TV news, Sotiropulos pursued a successful career in film, making appearances in several notable productions.
