A 24-year-old substitute maintenance worker at Selma Unified School District was arrested on suspicion of possessing child sexual abuse material. Troy DeCarlo, 24, from Fresno, is facing charges after his electronic devices were seized during the arrest.
DeCarlo had been working as a substitute maintenance worker and groundskeeper since December 2025. He worked under supervision and had limited contact with students. Detectives with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations made the arrest following a CyberTip.
Authorities ask anyone with information to come forward, and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward.
