Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch has written a scathing concurring opinion criticizing his fellow conservative justices for applying the “major questions doctrine” inconsistently. The ruling struck down President Donald Trump’s tariffs, with six justices opposing the policy. Gorsuch accused some justices of applying the doctrine differently depending on who is in charge. He also pointed out inconsistencies among liberal justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Despite this, the president has continued to express anger towards the court’s decision, including calling Gorsuch a “lap dog” and a “disgrace to our nation”.
