“Apple TV Promotes Monarch: Legacy of Monsters with Epic Drone Show”

Apple TV is launching a major marketing campaign for its sci-fi epic series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, premiering this week. The show’s creators have pulled out all the stops to promote it, including a jaw-dropping drone event featuring Godzilla, Kong, and other monsters.

Last Friday in Los Angeles, Apple partnered with Legendary to put on a spectacular drone show that set a new world record. The 3,000 drones rose 500 feet into the air, creating an unforgettable spectacle. The event featured stars from the show, including Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell.

The marketing push is reminiscent of Apple’s efforts last year, when they created a Lumon work station at Grand Central Terminal in NYC. The event was a hit, and this latest stunt promises to be just as impressive.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 premieres on February 27 with one episode, followed by weekly releases through May 1. You can watch season 1 here on Apple TV.
