BET Networks President Louis Carr announced that BET+ will be absorbed into Paramount+ at the beginning of June. This move comes after Paramount Global acquired a majority stake in Tyler Perry Studios’ ownership in BET+. The consolidation aims to expand the reach of BET content and improve economics in the streaming space. All current BET+ users will be offered a discount to join Paramount+, with over 1,000 hours of BET+ content transferring to the flagship streamer, including original series and movies.
