A British high court judge has sentenced Urfan Sharif and Beinash Batool, the father and stepmother of murdered teenager Sara Sharif, to life in prison. Justice John Cavanagh handed down life sentences, with a minimum term of 40 years for Sharif and 33 years for Batool. However, Sharif’s paternal uncle, Faisal Malik, was found not guilty of murder but convicted of contributing to her death, resulting in an 16-year sentence.
