Google’s latest smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 3, boasts the longest battery life of any Google smartwatch yet, with a claimed duration of up to 24 hours on a single charge when the always-on display is enabled. However, Android Central’s testing revealed better results, with users experiencing more than a day – sometimes two days – of battery life.
The Pixel Watch 3’s battery life depends on various factors such as usage habits and GPS workouts. Regardless of how you use it, you can expect at least a full day of usage on a single charge. To maximize battery life, enable Battery Saver mode, which disables the always-on display but keeps tilt-to-wake active.
The larger 45mm model has a slightly longer battery life than the smaller 41mm model. Both models charge relatively quickly, with the smaller one taking around an hour to reach 100% capacity. While not outstanding, the Pixel Watch 3’s battery life is solid and suitable for daily use.
Note: Google’s official support document states that the Pixel Watch 3’s battery life will last up to 24 hours on a single charge when the always-on display is turned on.
