North Korean Troops Accidentally Killed in Friendly Fire Incident

Ukrainian officials have confirmed that Russian paramilitary soldiers were accidentally targeted and killed by North Korean troops in a recent friendly fire incident. According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), the language barrier between Russian and North Korean troops led to the tragic event.

The incident occurred during an operation involving Russian and North Korean forces in the Kursk Oblast, which is currently occupied by Ukrainian forces. The DIU stated that around 11,000 DPRK personnel are stationed in Russia.

The friendly fire incident resulted in the death of eight soldiers from the Akhmat special forces unit in Chechnya. The language barrier made it difficult for the troops to control and coordinate actions, leading to the accidental attack on their own vehicles.
