Apple Fixes Magic Mouse’s Charging Port Flaw

Apple is finally addressing one of its biggest criticisms with the Magic Mouse – the placement of its charging port on the bottom of the device. The move comes after years of user complaints about being unable to charge their mouse while it’s in use, causing a major inconvenience.

According to Apple insider Mark Gurman, the company is working on a new design that will revamp the entire product, including a relocated charging port. However, don’t expect the updated Magic Mouse to hit stores anytime soon – Gurman estimates that the device won’t be released for at least 12-18 months due to significant hardware engineering and software development.

The news comes as part of Apple’s ongoing efforts to improve its products and address user concerns. The company is also reportedly working on other new projects, including an upgraded AirTag with improved tracking capabilities and a potential foldable device that could rival the iPad.
