Delta Airlines Stowaway Arrested Again for Attempting to Leave Country Illegally

Svetlana Dali, the alleged Delta Airlines stowaway, was arrested for the second time this month in Philadelphia. She was previously arrested by the FBI on December 4 for allegedly sneaking onto a flight from the US to France.

According to authorities, Dali cut off her ankle monitor and attempted to sneak into Canada using a Greyhound bus. However, she did not have a valid passport when asked to produce it.

Dali’s latest arrest appears to be her second attempt in fewer than 30 days to leave the country illegally. She was previously caught on November 26 trying to board a Delta flight without proper documentation.

In court, Dali claimed that she had been sex trafficked and poisoned, similar to claims made in a previous handwritten civil lawsuit. However, it’s unclear how these claims relate to her latest arrest.

Dali was remanded into custody and will appear before a federal magistrate. She declined the services of a public defender and opted to represent herself in court.

The Russian national’s attempts to sneak back into Canada follow a statement from the French Interior Ministry earlier this month, which explained that she was not allowed to enter French territory due to lack of a valid travel document and was instead re-routed to the US.
