Japan’s Space One Fails Again to Reach Orbit

Tokyo-based startup Space One’s bid to launch a satellite into orbit for the second time failed, dealing a setback to Japan’s space development aspirations. The company’s 18-meter, 23-ton solid-fuel Kairos No. 2 rocket malfunctioned during ascent from a newly established facility in Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture.
