NVIDIA has launched a compact generative AI supercomputer, the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, designed to boost performance at an affordable price of $249. This handheld device offers improved generative AI capabilities and a 1.7x leap in inference performance compared to its predecessor.
The new kit is suitable for developers, hobbyists, and students interested in learning about generative AI, robotics, or computer vision. It comes equipped with a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB system-on-module (SoM) and a reference carrier board, allowing users to prototype edge AI applications.
NVIDIA’s extensive software ecosystem provides immediate support for popular generative AI models and transformer-based computer vision.
