Remembering Ana Orsini, Beloved 13 News Anchor

Ana Orsini, a cherished member of the 13 News Family, has passed away after a battle with a brain aneurysm. Since joining the team in June 2023, she left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Friends and colleagues remember Ana for her boundless empathy and dedication to helping those in need. She was known for taking under her wing newcomers and mentors experienced staff alike, sharing her kindness and expertise. Her love for rescue animals was evident in everything she did, from celebrating Fur Baby Friday to advocating for shelter pets.

As a journalist, Ana was passionate about delivering accurate information to viewers. Born in Denver, Colorado, she graduated from the University of Arizona and Texas A&M with degrees in journalism and communication. She began her career in Lubbock, Texas, covering various topics before moving to Medford, Oregon, where she worked as a morning and midday anchor.

When not working, Ana enjoyed playing fetch with her rescue dog, Harley, reading true crime books, or cheering on the Aggies during college football games. Her family says they want her memory to be celebrated by supporting local animal shelters, in honor of her love for dogs.

The 13 News Family sends its sincerest condolences to Ana’s loved ones and requests that anyone wishing to pay tribute respect their request for privacy.
