WWE has announced its main event for the upcoming debut of “Raw” on Netflix, pitting CM Punk against Seth Rollins in what is expected to be one of the most highly anticipated matches in 30+ years of the show. The match was revealed during a “Raw on Netflix Kickoff Special” held on YouTube.
Punk and Rollins have been building tension over several weeks, with their confrontations escalating into a physical brawl on Monday night’s episode of “Raw”. The long-awaited feud between the two superstars began when Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series last year, but was initially delayed due to Punk being injured. The match has now finally come together for the Netflix debut.
This bout is part of a stacked show, with Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa also confirmed as part of the event.
