The 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships began on Tuesday, February 18, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolina. The championships will continue through Saturday, with events scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
North Carolina leads the women’s side after day one with 187 points, while California holds the lead on the men’s side with 172 points. Stanford women claimed the 200-medley relay title with a time of 1:34.05, breaking Virginia’s five-straight victories at the conference championship meet.
Aranza Vazquez MontaƱo from North Carolina repeated as the 1-meter diving champion for the third consecutive year, posting a score of 357.40 through six dives. The men’s 800-yard freestyle relay saw Virginia set an NCAA, ACC, and championships record with a time of 6:44.13.
California took first in the men’s 800-free relay title in 6:06.66, finishing ahead of Stanford in second at 6:08.70 and NC State in third at 6:09.18. Max Fowler won the men’s 1-meter title with a score of 421.90, improving 47.55 points from his previous finish.
The championships will continue on Wednesday, February 19, at 9:30 a.m. ET with preliminary events and finals events starting at 5:30 p.m. ET. Live results and feeds are available online.
