The 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Swimming and Diving Championships continued on Thursday in Greensboro, North Carolina. On the women’s side, Virginia is leading with 744.5 points, while California holds the top spot on the men’s side with 633.5 points.
Virginia freshman Katie Grimes secured gold in the 400 IM event with a time of 3:59.39, setting the second-fastest time in meet history. Tommy Bried claimed his first ACC title in the same event for Louisville. Torri Huske won the women’s 100 fly title for Stanford, breaking her own school record.
Stanford’s Andrei Minakov took the men’s 100 fly title with a time of 44.27, while Florida State’s Michel Arkhangelskiy came in second. Virginia’s Aimee Canny won back-to-back ACC Championship titles in the 200 free event.
In diving, Miami’s Chiara Pellacani claimed her first gold medal with a score of 403.15 in the women’s 3-meter event.
The championships will continue on Friday at 9:30 a.m. ET, with preliminary events and finals starting at 5:30 p.m. ET. Live streaming will be available on ACC Network Extra.
