Acer Unveils Thin Gaming Notebooks with Advanced Cooling Tech

Acer’s Computex 2025 lineup includes the Predator Triton 14 AI and Helios Neo 14 AI gaming notebooks, both featuring Intel’s Lunar Lake processor alongside an Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU. However, the most impressive aspect of these laptops is their advanced cooling system, which uses graphene thermal interface material to reduce heat.

The Predator Triton 14 AI features a 14.5-inch OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 color and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also boasts up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and up to 2TB of PCI Express Gen 4 storage. The laptop weighs 3.7 pounds and measures 12.7 x 10.2 x 0.81 inches.

The Predator Helios Neo 14 AI is similar, but with a slightly older Intel Core Ultra 200H processor and 5th-gen AeroBlade technology. It also features an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU and weighs 4.2 pounds.

Acer’s Nitro lineup includes the Nitro 18 AI, Nitro 16 AI, Nitro 16S, and Nitro V 165 AI, all featuring AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processors with Copilot+ AI capabilities. The laptops are designed for gaming and come with advanced cooling systems, including copper and vector heat pipes.

Pricing starts at 2,999 euros for the Predator Triton 14 AI in EMEA. The Predator Helios Neo 14 AI will be available in July for 1,699 euros. The Nitro lineup’s prices are not yet announced.
