Adobe is expanding its generative AI capabilities to provide creators with more flexibility and control over their creative workflows. In addition to its commercially safe and IP-friendly Adobe Firefly models, the company will now offer a range of non-Adobe generative AI models from reputable providers like Black Forest Labs, fal, Google Cloud, and Runway.
These new models will be integrated into Project Concept and Adobe Express, allowing creators to seamlessly switch between Firefly models for production use and non-Adobe models for ideation. The goal is to give creators more choice and control over which creative models they use when, for which projects, and how.
Key features of this development include:
* Seamless integration with Adobe products
* Transparency about which model is being used
* Option for enterprise customers to enable non-Adobe models at the organizational level
* Content Credentials will be attached to AI-generated content to indicate its origin
Adobe’s approach to generative AI is creator-friendly, with a focus on professional-grade creative controls, high-quality production-ready content, and transparent usage practices. The company has also committed to providing bonus payments to Adobe Stock contributors whose work was used in training Firefly models.
This development marks an important step towards empowering creators with more choices and control over their workflows, as Adobe continues to innovate across the ecosystem with a focus on collaboration, power, precision, and transparency.
