Adobe has finally launched a mobile app for its iconic photo-editing tool, Photoshop. The free app offers an intuitive interface that allows users to access a range of image editing and design features, including combining, composting, and blending images with selections, layers, and masks.
Key features include the spot healing brush, thousands of free Adobe Stock assets, Generative Fill and Generative Expand AI tools for easy photo transformation, and a Tap Select tool that makes it simple to edit photos on mobile. The app also syncs seamlessly with other Adobe Creative Cloud apps, allowing users to access their workflows across different devices.
The Photoshop mobile experience is designed to be user-friendly, making it an ideal alternative for novice users who may feel overwhelmed by the desktop layout. Users can easily switch between editing on their phone and accessing their project on a computer using the web interface.
While the free version of the app offers robust features, premium users have access to additional tools, including expanded Firefly capabilities and over 20,000 fonts. Existing Photoshop plans already included access to Photoshop on iPad and the web, but now include mobile access as well.
