I’ve tried several Notion alternatives, but AFFiNE impresses me the most. Its open-source nature, local storage, and free price tag make it an attractive option. I paired it with NotebookLM, an AI assistant, to see if it could improve my workflow. To my surprise, they worked seamlessly together.
AFFiNE is an all-in-one workspace for notes, documents, whiteboards, and databases. It’s minimalist, combining features from Notion, Obsidian, and Miro.
