Nothing’s new budget smartphone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, has set a new standard for affordable devices with its impressive features and design. Priced at $279, it rivals high-end smartphones like the Moto G series, Samsung Galaxy A lineup, and even the Google Pixel 9a.
The phone boasts a bold design with a signature Nothing look and modular accessories that can be customized to suit individual preferences. The CMF Phone 2 Pro features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, 8GB of RAM, and a choice between 128GB or 256GB of storage. It also comes equipped with a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging, rated to last up to 22 hours on continuous video playback. Nothing OS 3.2 (based on Android 15) provides features like Privacy Space, smooth animations, and three years of Android updates and six years of security patches.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is available in four colors: Orange, Light Green, White, and Black, with a lightweight body and IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone’s back cover has been improved to feel more sturdy and premium, with the Light Green option standing out from competing devices.
Three new earbuds have also been announced by CMF, with prices starting at $49 for the Buds 2a. While they vary in sound quality, they offer improved battery backup and voice clarity on calls compared to their predecessors.
