AGDQ 2025 Raises $54 Million for Charity Over 15 Years

Games Done Quick (GDQ) has wrapped up its annual event, Awesome Games Done Quick 2025, with a total of $2,556,305 raised for charity. This brings the organization’s lifetime charity total to over $54 million. AGDQ 2025 featured various speedrunning challenges, including a four-way Super Metroid race that ended with a spectacular Opera performance.

The event showcased the creativity and dedication of speedrunners, who tackled popular games like Ratchet and Clank, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Fallout: New Vegas. Viewers enjoyed the non-stop entertainment, donating generously to support various charities.

GDQ’s next event, Summer Games Done Quick, is scheduled for July 6th, with a focus on raising money for Doctors Without Borders. This marks another milestone in GDQ’s charity efforts, cementing its position as a leader in gaming philanthropy.
