AI.com, a mysterious website that gained attention with its Super Bowl commercial, is now available after being sold to Crypto.com’s co-founder and CEO, Kris Marszalek, for a record-breaking amount. The site was initially offered for sale in March 2025 for $100 million but eventually sold for $70 million less.
The new AI.com website allows users to reserve a username of their choice, similar to social media platforms. To do so, users must sign up with a Google login and claim two available handles. They then confirm their identity with a credit card, without incurring any charges. The site plans to be an AI assistant platform with some social media aspect.
AI.com’s domain name was previously sold for $10 million to future Media Architects in 2021. However, the new sale marks a significant increase in value, setting a record high for a domain name sale.
