Air India Plane Crash Investigation Reveals Critical Cockpit Exchange

A preliminary report by the Air Accident Investigation Board (AAIB) has shed new light on the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, revealing a critical exchange between pilots moments before the accident. The investigation found that cockpit voice recordings captured a conversation between the two pilots, with one asking why the other had cut off fuel supplies. In response, the pilot claimed not to have initiated the action. Notably, this incident occurred shortly after take-off, when fuel cutoff switches were in transition from ‘Run’ to ‘Cut Off’ before being reverted back to their original state.
