Alabama Gas Station Group Sues State Over E-Cigarette Ban

A coalition of gas stations and convenience stores is challenging an Alabama law banning the sale of e-cigarettes, arguing that it grants the state’s alcohol control board unconstitutional power to limit the sale of these products. The Petroleum & Convenience Marketers of Alabama claims that the US Food and Drug Administration has sole authority to set manufacturing standards for e-cigarettes.
