A new Aldi store is set to open in Antigo, Wisconsin, marking the German grocery chain’s expansion plans in the state and beyond. As part of its efforts to grow, Aldi has announced that 17 new stores are preparing for grand openings, although most exact dates have not been confirmed.
By the end of 2028, the company aims to open a total of 800 new stores across the US. To achieve this goal, Aldi is converting existing Winn-Dixie and Harvey’s Supermarket locations into its own stores, having acquired approximately 400 sites in the southeastern US last August.
Wisconsin residents can now count on Aldi, which currently operates 87 stores in the state, including six locations in Milwaukee. For those looking to find their closest location, a store locator tool is available on the company’s website.
Aldi’s Antigo store will be located at 2019 Neva Road, providing customers with another convenient shopping option in the area.
